InPageAds are expanding online inventories and creating new media formats that improve brand recognition and awareness, allowing busy portals to serve inventories they did not have resulting in a larger piece of the advertising pie going to online.
Inflation is affecting consumer spending and advertisers say they will now spend only on media which gives them the highest measurable returns. TV, for instance, grabs the biggest ad pie due to its mass appeal and the ready availability of TRPs, used to assess its returns.
Worldwide spending on Internet advertising will total $65.2 billion in 2008, which represents nearly 10% of all ad spending across all media.
Internet advertising in the United States will continue to grow fast even as the current economic woes will lead to a contraction in ad spending overall.
